Teaching

My teaching philosophy is inspired by a commitment to community, practice and ethics. Having taught students from across the world, I actively encourage my students to view learning as a communal process where they actively apply their lived experiences to their learning and foster engagement with others.

I have taught a variety of classes in literature, language and popular culture which have included:

  •  Digital African Literature
  • Neoliberalisam and the Economy of Art
  • Fieldwork as Ethnographic and Literary Methodology.
  • Postcolonial Criticism and Women’s Voices
  • Communication Skills and Report Writing
