As a women’s health activist, my activities are geared towards creating spaces of conversation on women’s sexual and reproductive health through different media. I produce visual and written content on women’s health, facilitate workshops and have spoken on numerous panels on the topic.

A Thousand Needles is an award winning film on women’s sexual and reproductive health co-written and produced by myself in 2018. As an artist, I incorporate poetry and monologues as a tool for highlighting the emotional impact of women’s sexual and reproductive health diseases in women’s lives. The film has screened in different countries and won awards such as the Social Impact Award at the Ndiva Women’s Film Festival 2019 in Accra, Ghana.

In 2021, I produced an annual Online Film Festival on African Women’s Sexual, Reproductive Health and Rights which showcased films that address the stigmas related to women’s health. It included film screenings and discussions.
